JSP Templates Acknowledgements
JSP templates is a hack of the Apache Tomcat 3.2 JSP parser. It is import to say the following...
"This product includes software developed by the Apache Software Foundation (http://www.apache.org/). "
It is also important to emphasise the following...
"The original authors of the JASPER components of this code are to be acknowledged" (and praised for good work) . They are not responsible for the work Paul Hinds has done to change the code. Every class in this project has had some alterations even if very minor, some of it by automatic tools.
The point here is that they did the good work and deserves acknowledgement but they don't want to be bothered by users of this project saying 'this bit doesn't work, or that bit doesn't work' because the changes I have made have broken it. This acknowledgement is both a legal requirement of the Apache license and common sense. As far as I know they do not even know this project exists.
In a nutshell, don't bother them unless you want to give them praise/cash.
